Kiwanis provides many opportunities
to take part in community events that benefit children and individuals.
Partnering with other organizations or other service clubs and non-profits we plant trees, support neighborhood fairs with our popcorn booths, we work with Habitat for Humanity to build homes, and support Memorial Hospital events. Kiwanis can use the talents and skills of anyone willing to be a part of the Kiwanis Team.

Kiwanis Club of Long Beach, has a
Funding Source, the Kiwanis Foundation. Every dollar spent is meant to benefit the children and the community. This calls for generous donations to aid and pay for the necessary expenses that fund service projects and events. You can help by making a charitable donation to any one or all projects Kiwanis supports.

1. Kiwanis Kids and Cops-Annual
one day event for middle school youth to
meet and play team sports with police.
2. High School Scholarship Fund
3. Key Club, and Circle "K"
Funding used for 7 area high schools and college
leadership training and activities.
4. Support of many children charities
5. Meals to Lydia House
6. Community Tree Planting Projects
7. Help fund books for Children's Clinic
Project Funding
Kiwanis projects are funded through generous individual donations, fundraising and through the Kiwanis Foundation Fund. A number of projects are funded annually. Here is a list of some of the projects:
Annual McClaughry-Matt Doyle High School College and Higher Learning Scholarships.
$5000 Annual Grant Award to an outstanding youth
organization: Musique Sur La Mer Youth Orchestra
YMCA pre-school playground and Kiwanis Garden special non-profit partnership project.
$5000 Annual Grant Award to an outstanding youth organization: Assistance League "Kids On The Block".
Annual Key Club Conventions and activities are funded through the Kiwanis Club Foundation.
$5000 Annual Grant Award to an outstanding youth organization: Power 4 Youth.
